MISSY ELLIOT SHOOT FOR GOODBY
8/31/07 - San Francisco, CA
It’s 4pm and I’m grooving to the tunes of Missy Elliot for our Goodby, Silverstein
& Partners shoot for Doritos. The scene has the makings of an Austin Powers
meets the Brady Bunch movie. I watched heads bobbing rhythmically to the beats, a
gogo dancer on platform heals playing the vibraphone, and the star of the scene swaying with the 70’s beat.
The art direction is pure genius and extraordinarily ambitious. All in all we shot six beautiful scenes and genres, 18 wardrobe changes, in less than ten hours. Every shoot should be this fun; you have to laugh or you’d cry…
